BSN Social Care is focused on delivering outstanding outcomes for some of the UK’s most vulnerable but amazing young people. By providing our foster children and young people with the love, care, education and ongoing support they deserve, we have demonstrated our ability to provide a start in life that literally saves lives, integrates people into society and nurtures successful, independent, young adults.
Together, we support over 850 children and young people, and work with 100 local authorities from the Midlands to the south coast and from Pembrokeshire to Cornwall. We remain owned and managed by the original founders, both of whom are qualified social workers and have grown the Group in their image, putting the needs of our amazing children, foster carers and staff first.

Meet the Senior Team
Founder Blue Sky Fostering
Simon qualified as a social worker and has had a long and successful career supporting looked after children in a number of roles. Prior to establishing Blue Sky Fostering, he worked as a director of a national independent fostering provider.
He established Blue Sky Fostering in 2005, ambitious for the children in his care, Simon established a new kind of service for looked after children, called the Therapeutically Led Care Service. This service has grown to be one of the UK’s most respected child care services, taking children away from residential home settings and tailoring a care package to suit them as individuals.
Founder Nexus Fostering
Grace has dedicated her career to the support of vulnerable children following her qualification as a social worker she worked in childrens services for a number of different Local Authorities before moving to take up the post of director for a national independent fostering provider.
Grace established Nexus Fostering in 2002, in order to build an agency that put the outcomes of it’s children at the centre of everything it did. The business now supports approximately 250 placements and provides specialist services including Care+ and parent and child services.
In 2012, Grace took up the role of chairperson for the National Association of Fostering Providers (NAFP), the national association for independent foster care organisations.
